The Schœlcher museum was built in 1883 and houses a collection of sculptures and objects that the abolitionist Victor Schœlcher donated to the General Council of Guadeloupe.
The sculpture in homage to Louis Delgrès was inaugurated on the 26th of May 2001, in the Abymes (Guadeloupe). It was created by the Guadeloupian sculptor Jacky Poulier.
The Musée du café et cacao (coffee and cocoa museum), located in Trois-Ilets, traces the various stages of the manufacture of coffee and cocoa, two products that have made the settlers wealthy.
The Château Dubuc, now in ruins, was the property of the family Du Buc in the eighteenth century. Pierre Du Buc, arrived in Martinique in 1657 to grown sugar cane, coffee and tobacco.
