On 24th February 2007, the association Chants de Canne organised the concert Rézonans Kréol in Saint Denis, a Parisian suburb. Mike Ibrahim and Tedjee were among the artists. The association Chants de cannes wants to be a vehicle for promoting the creole cultures of the Caribbean and Indian Ocean. Patrick Kancel, a co-founder of the association, described the concert as 'an event organised in collaboration with Artmanaprod. It has been entirely self-financed. During this concert, the artists will bring to life their maternal culture through the creole language. The goal is to organise more concerts, with different themes and musical tastes, like rap, jazz and many others. For the moment, it's just a project. This first edition will present the concept of Rézonans Kréol.'
