Père-Lafosse Cemetery or Cemetery of Lost Souls in Saint-Louis

The Père Lafosse Cemetery, also called “cimetière des Âmes perdues” (Cemetery of Lost Souls), is located on the island of La Réunion, in Saint- Louis. It has the particularity of containing slave remains. The people of La Réunion gather there every 20th of December to visit the graves of Père Lafosse and the slaves.
