Chemin des anglais, or "Chemin Crémont"

The “Chemin des anglais” (the English Pathway), also called Chemin Crémont, was built in the 18th century by slaves. Until 1849, it is the only paved road that allowed to connect by land the west and the north of the island of La Réunion. Today, hiker can still use that path.
