The association L’ombre du silence ou l’esclavage au rythme de l’histoire 1625-1848 (The shadow of silence, or the historical evolution of slavery 1625-1848) has been touring an exhibition since 1994, which bears the same name. The exhibition consists of 36 panels and recounts three centuries of slavery. This exhibition is currently available for hire.
The association is based in Paris and sometimes works with other associations such as Anneaux de la Mémoire, La Maison de la Négritude et des Droits de l’Homme and the Association pour l’étude de la colonisation européenne (APECE).
