Historical overview:

Created in October 2003, the Collectif 2004 Images is an association of filmmakers, photographers, artists, musicians, writers, actors and academics, created to mark the bicentenary of the independence of Haiti. Its primary purpose is to emphasize the work of Haitian artists from Haiti and the diaspora, and to make their work more visible.

The various projects presented by the Collectif 2004 Images have the same goal: to enhance the Haitian cultural heritage, with an emphasis on contemporary productions.
