The Association des Antillais et Guyanais de Loire-Atlantique was created between 1946-1950 by oversea nationals mobilised during World War II who chose to remain in France. Today, it brings together people from Guadeloupe, Martinique and Guyana, their spouses, descendants and friends.
From the 10th until the 12th of May 2007, the Association des Antillais et Guyanais de Loire-Atlantique presented a photo exhibition on crops and rum distilleries, which were at the root of the triangular trade.
