Réseau Louverture

The objectives of the Réseau Louverture are as follows:

The acquisition, conservation, study and diffusion of content relating to the history and memory of:

• The Atlantic slave trade and deportation, the phenomenon of slavery that ensued, the overall past and current consequences of the above two points, including the legal statutes that resulted from these histories and their effects, as well as the Code Noir (Black Code) and the Code de l’Indigénat (Code of Indigenous Status)
• Colonialism and the wars and crimes that accompanied that history
• Forced labor
• The various forms of discrimination and contemporary forms of domination inspired by all of these histories, or emanating from them; any other history of a similar nature to those specified here.

The Réseau Louverture reserves the right to take pedagogical action by all means, whether it concerns analysis, information or law. It thus reserves the right to take any legal action for the defense of historical truth.
