Historical overview: 

Emmanuel Mbea, or Melek, is the president of the association Intégration, Développement et Culture (IDC) and founder of the choir 'Gospel Fire'. The choir is now composed of twenty singers of African, Caribbean and European origin, performing at concerts or other cultural events in the region of Paris and in Province. IDC organizes celebrations, trips and cultural events in order to promote integration, culture and equal opportunities in francophone countries, and human development.

  • To promote integration, culture and equal opportunities in francophone countries

  • To promote gospel and Negro-spiritual through the organisation of courses, workshops, training and gospel festivals
  • To organise a cultural week commemorating the abolition of slavery
  • To promote peace, dialogue and cooperation among nations and peoples of the world.
