Historical overview:
The association Allons Marron was founded in 1998 to mark the 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery with the aim of putting on an event for this occasion. Subsequently, the association decided to continue to offer various activities in order to strengthen the social ties between its members. The activities proposed by Allons Marron include ballroom dancing, the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, tours and live entertainment.
Summary of objectives:
In 1998, the aim of the association was:

- To promote solidarity between its members
